When the gel is in contact with the wound, fluid is drawn from the surrounding tissues through osmosis. By doing so, a moist wound healing environment is created. L-Mesitran Soft is a primary wound gel that can be covered with most commonly used secondary dressings. The properties of the gel also help the secondary dressing from adhering to the wound bed. This 1.75 oz. L-Mesitran wound gel is for chronic, acute, deep, superficial and post-operative wounds! Unlike Manuka honey, L-Mesitran consists of a blend of medical grade honeys - Natural, Medical Grade Ingredients.
