Propolis is gathered when bees pollinate flowers. Propolis has high bioflavonoid levels that can be helpful in maintaining a healthy immune system.
When manufactured as a tincture, propolis can be applied directly to the skin, open wounds or scrapes. If applied regularly, there is a reduced chance of developing an infection. Acne and skin rashes may be treated as well. Regular application will also fade the appearance of scars over time.
